Panther Creek 2016 Winemaker’s Cuvée Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley, Oregon
Bought • Costco, 4200 Rusty Road, in February for $14.99
Description • This elegant, small-production wine, which scored 90 points from Wine Enthusiast, is a delicious blend of pinot noir grapes from five top Panther Creek vineyards that have different soils. The result is a rich and complex medium-bodied wine that tastes of both red and dark fruits and has fine tannins. Aged in oak for 12 months, it has some inviting earthiness and black pepper spice.
